Judge Ellis’s ruling is a necessary response to the Trump admin’s repeated violations of her previous temporary restraining order. To be clear: the admin's tactics in the Chicago area are from the authoritarian playbook—a deliberate, nationwide campaign to suppress dissent and neutralize opposition.
