As much as I hate who and what they voted for, they're still people. I hate the views that they have, but I at least understand why they have them. This is coming from a nonbinary lesbian. If I can understand them, so can you. The end.

I'm frustrated with the democratic party and their voters villainizing people who just need more support. Quit saying rural, conservative voters deserve natural disasters. No one does. They deserve education, clean water, healthcare, etc. just as much as any other voter.

Rural voters need support. They need better access to things that suburban/urban voters take for granted. They need people to fight for them in order to change their perspective, but the democratic party doesnt do enough for them. They see them as the enemy. They are not the enemy. Lack of access is

They dont understand DEI because they dont have diversity. We had 1 black family in my town -actually a village. We had gay and trans people, but they weren't out except to each other. Rural voters tend to be religious, and when their church isn't giving the whole truth, hatred for others is bred 6

To them, tariffs meant that manufacturing would come back to America - something they desperately need, but because of their lack of access to proper education, they don't understand how much we rely on other countries and that we need to build up the US first before applying tariffs (5)

To them, the price of eggs really does matter. Low income rural voters want lower prices. Where I lived, we had to drive to the next city to go to the grocery store. We had to drive to the next city for healthcare. Multiple cities over for a hospital that can handle trauma. (4)

People fail to realize that rural areas don't have guaranteed access to clean water. They don't have guaranteed access to quality healthcare. They don't have access to quality education. They don't have access to many things that suburban/urban areas have access to. They're struggling.

Rural voters feel overlooked, underrepresented, and underappreciated. Our farmers make little profit off of their hard work. When talking about moving to electric vehicles, people fail to recognize that some rural areas don't have a reliable power grid to support the move to electric. (3)

I grew up in a poor, rural area. People dropped out of school to help support their families. People didn't go to college because they didn't have access or proper education. They aren't being taught history in depth. Schools run on little funding. My school couldn't afford updated textbooks. (2)
