I reeeally hope all the interviews, social media saturation, drum banging and weird fan fiction from Madrid fans/players/coaches only serves to ramp up the pressure on them, rather than intimidate us.

That was awful. Can’t blame Merino, he did his best up there but couldn’t offer anything. Does irritate me how often opposition wingers can just literally run in a straight line for 3/4 of the pitch against us and we allow it. Never see us doing that the other way #AFC #COYG

If we don’t win today (& considering our attack & the fact that it’s literally Man City we’re playing, that’s quite likely) I actually wouldn’t be that bothered if we waited till summer to buy the strikers we really want, rather than a second choice player who happens to be available now
