Can’t believe the U.S. has been taken over by oligarchs, Christian nationalists, and tech-bro authoritarians, but here we are. Time to resist. Lawyer. Slightly feral.
Deep sigh. Okay. I’m out. This purity test is too much, as are alienating accusations such as yours.

If you would delete my post from your feed for voicing my opinion, feel free. I think that is problematic for a whole different set of reasons but if your posts on your page must all contain news articles, let everyone know.

Clarification or specification - whatever you would like to call it. It had the tone and feel of “I need to prove you wrong.” I’m fine with disagreement. I’m simply aware of the limits and nature of this forum and asking you to respect that. Thanks!

I mean more than Schumer and frankly I mean more than Congressional Dems, but this is not the forum for such a debate. And I won’t engage. Thanks.

I think many Dems are treating it that way. Schumer comes to mind.

I actually think “too many” across the board - ordinary people but also plenty of politicians in leadership positions who (I think) should know better but seem to be treating this as another ordinary election cycle when it so very clearly is not. Ignorance or indifference or tacit approval?

We need action, not speeches. Coordinated, unified, honest to goodness action. You and everyone else knows what is going on. Stop pretending this is anything less than a crisis. Be a leader. We need to end this madness before even more harm occurs.

Yeah. Too many are still treating this as “just another 4 years to be endured” and are genuinely failing to understand what is going on - that’s true of leaders as much as ordinary people.

Wired published an interesting article (and video interview) about AI and its possible thinking processes. Makes me curious if Grok is out-thinking its “master” (or could be soon).
