The X-Men get their first Annual, inheriting the numbering from the first two Giant-Size X-Men issues (the first issue introduced the All-New, All-Different X-Men and the second issue ended up being released as X-Men #94-95 and instead was released with all reprints.)

My favorite early 90s annual crossover was 1991's Kings of Pain, with the X-books and New Warriors
