Used to get the flu every year. Then started to take advantage of free vaccines at work and now at the pharmacy. Have had the flu maybe once or twice in 20 years and it wasn’t very bad.

Kelly’s a United States Senator. Pretty sure even this Supreme Court won’t allow a runaround of the Speech and Debate Clause.

Not to mention a hero acting in his capacity as a United States Senator protected by the Speech and Debate clause. Betting this court martial is one of the many idol threats that never come to fruition.

I'm from Southern Cal, so these ladies are not getting elected to school boards. Many are home schoolers. The Southern Cal Christian experience differs from Texas because our culture here is far more secular. But you're spot on in places where the cultural default in conservative.

BTW, Southern Baptists have gotten more conservative as well.

Falwell was a Southern Baptist preacher. As evangelicals focused more on politics and culture (e.g., Dobson) their theology got more conservative as well.

IIMO the evangelicals of the 70s had some differences with their fundamentalist brethren (e.g., the Southern Baptists, Church of Christ, Assembly of God), even though both groups interpreted the Bible literally. This included politics as well. The Moral Majority started with the fundamentalists.

I know a lot of older evangelical women and I believe that many times their husbands parrot their views.
