IMO it's not just Tesla but most/all dedicated EV-makers. They won't stand up serious internal quality until damages outweigh the costs. I work in technical sales, including met equipment for quality labs at facilities exactly like the one you're describing. Legacy automakers completely different.

I still catch myself expecting pickup drivers to be the best drivers on the road. Growing up in rural Ohio in the 80’s-90’s, they were! Hard to find definitions of the good life in a world where you have to be this defensive against your neighbors.

my dad's brothers fled their mennonite family farm as soon as they were able and ended up in what were basically shotgun marriages. maternal grandmother married my grandfather so she wouldn't be homeless. always been savage out here.

The hogs are shot from helicopters by guys running AR15- or AR10-pattern guns. They can keep the herd together and in the open for a more complete cull.
