"Freedom of the press only belongs to those who own the presses" needs to change. Let's amplify independent journalism. Let's help boost the signal and squelch the noise.

All right, you win. Truth takes another arrow to the knee.

Only this time, it's friendly fire.

We can't sacrifice truth and honesty in exchange for reclaiming our country, else what use is it?

Our country is already based on enough lies, forgotten inconvenient facts, and elided history to cause existing divisions among our subpopulations making up the Democratic Party.

We can't have more.

If we sacrifice truth to regain the country, what will that country be worth?

Especially for the better-known Twitter users, it's better to delete your posts there and leave your account inactive to keep squatters from swiping your account name.

Also, this is an alt account that I'm using to correct an error I made on my main account by following back everybody. Doing so meant the hard news sources got lost amidst the memes and fur family photos.

This account does not follow back. Please accept my apologies for this unkindness.

"In the lion's den, justice belongs to the lion."

This is Big Tech's version of realpolitik: to pledge fealty to their government overlords.

Like real-world politics, he didn't have to participate so soon, and so cravenly.

They'll get around to him Saturday quickly.

If they vote for trans rights, and they themselves are not trans, then they are seeing the bigger picture and showing care for other people.

In other words, Democrats.

And generally, Democrats aren't as interested in plundering the government, so that leads to better economic results.

We wrote on what RFK Jr could do on vaccines at The Washington Post earlier this month.

Here's a free link (no paywall) if it's helpful to see.

How much influence could RFK Jr. have over vaccines in Trump’s government?
RFK Jr., a longtime anti-vaccine activist, to play a role in Trump administration and potentially influence how the FDA and CDC approach the lifesaving shots.

She's the main character in the story she linked to.

And she's saying she still has room on her dance card.
