The oil industry had assets in Venezuela. They had to leave the country when Venezuela took possession of them. I don’t know that those oil companies would be willing to risk their money again just because this administration wants them too.

Kavanaugh should be made to watch each and every ice stop to see the violence and disregard for due process and their constitutional rights. Citizens are being held for days not minutes despite presenting documentation. There is no excuse.

And they had the gall to surround the judge’s car with weapons pointed and order them out. If they were after someone specific, they could have asked someone at the courthouse about the teen to verify.

We were already there and it did not turn out so well. I’m not sure oil companies would have the appetite to go back in after their assets were seized last time around.

There is no reason for holding him for 50 days. None!!! It’s not a brief detainment as Kavanaugh excuses. 50 days to keep a child from his mother. Shameful!
