This absurd @washingtonpost.com editorial reads like a parody. Do they really think rebranding a “Dept of War” is the solution to “mission creep” as the lawless Trump administration is sending troops to patrol American cities and blowing up a civilian boat, killing 11, far from US shores?

Today I raise the flag in appreciation of the men and women who paid the ultimate price in defense of our great nation. May our commitment to an enduring democracy be worthy of their sacrifice and eternal honor.
