Too right. I love them. It took a couple of years for them to happily reseed for me, but now they seem to be taking off. They especially mix well with the Phacelia.

Finally got around to harvesting this year's winter squash. Better than I'd feared, less than I'd hoped.

This year's watermelon harvest. 5 melons of roughly 5lb each. And two lost to slugs(!) when they were almost ripe. Pretty great considering the cool wet summer which netted no peppers and a dismal tomato crop.
Still have 5 or 6 on the vine that are baseball-sized and will never mature. Salsa maybe?

And now a companion, this time an Izu persimmon.

Excited about my new Matsumoto Wase Fuyu persimmon tree. I had no luck with a bareroot last year so splurged for a potted specimen.
