I am not American but wonder how in a two party system you really think not voting for the lesser evil is better. You should want the lesser evil but spend the rest of the time fighting to change it. This gives "Palestine's voting for Trump" vines.

What Itch situation?

Only children and animals deserve unconditional love. Adults need to be worthy of love. That means doing the work to invest in both yourself and your relationships. - This one hit hard but I didn't grow up with loving and healthy relationships to model. Learning this improved my life so much.

Can you imagine a true believer starting to build a factory under the "protection" of tariffs and then this happening? And they still don't get that this won't bring back manufacturing and was never about bringing back manufacturing.

Let's say this is a workable option (I don't think it is) how can you trust the US to actually stick to the deal? How long before they start saying it was too cheap and you are getting ripped off?

Why should the government support a shadow currency?
I understand the situation but why is the effort not to bring young men into the banking system where money is more secure as it can be insured?

Everyone sounded coached.

I suspect that this is far more widespread than is currently known. The deliberate attempt to avoid records if actions should terrify people.

And seriously, have government departments be able to market and advertise what they do. So many of these actions wouldn't be acceptable if people actually knew what government did for them.

But most importantly, if they get power again they must not repeat the mistakes they made last time. They need to put all those norms and gentlemen's agreements into law and put power behind them for enforcement.

They need to be seen to be doing something for people and organisations that people value - they are pretty powerless in government right now. With government being cut down they might battle to defend all of these cases in courts.

I can't help but think this is the time for the Dems to push for fund raising to defend these actions in the the courts on individual cases or class action basis. It raises their visibility and shows them on the side of individuals and organisations.

I thought I imagined this movie. I loved it!
