Idea for new playing card ranking systems that substitute Jacks, Queens & Kings for more neutral options like X, Y & Z or letters of the greek alphabet

managed to hack the Susan Kare card backs and app icon into the Windows XP .exe :D

btw you can just copy the original .exe file from a Windows XP iso and it just works on Windows 11

I Was a Chopstick in Another Life "I remember it so vividly. I felt so useful and purposeful. They used me to pick up food and eat it. I felt so at peace knowing I was used to do what I was meant for. Sure, my burial could have been better. To be honest it reeked in that trash bin, but at least it was dark and tucked away. Like a fly on the wall. Still hearing the restaurant guests. That’s when I began my journey. Let me tell you all about it." story about a singular wooden chopstick that is being used to eat at an asian restaurant. it is sentient. it feels an immense sense of peace while fulfilling its purpose, yet — this short-lived state of nirvana is followed by what feels like an eternal journey to death. we follow it on its journey from the trash bin to a dumpster outside the restaurant, to eventually being picked up by the garbage truck and transferred to a landfill. even breaking in half — but still holding together — along the way. we follow it exploring the landfill while it’s waiting for its demise, knowing its destiny has been fulfilled. it witnesses years, decades of change — observing, wondering when it’s over, until one day the sun comes crashing down. it is wonderful. everything burns up. its warmth is all encompassing. there it is again: that bliss, that peace. finality. the end. at last. the chopstick wakes up again, this time in the form of an adult human. reminiscing about its past life. with a smile and filled with gratuity: "I was a chopstick in another life".
