Just finished the book and it's the definition of a page-turner with really well fleshed out and distinctive characters that leave you wondering "whodunit?"

Just downloaded the latest George Cross book to my kindle. I can't wait to get back to this great crime series
Well this is a nice start to 2025 - ‘One of the most iconic British detectives of the twenty first century… packed with detail and Cross’s ability to sense a lie, it’s a delight.’ The Daily Mail yesterday on The Bookseller published on January 16th. Thank you Geoffrey Wansell.

Despite training to be a journalist, and spending years doing PR/marketing work, most of my creative endeavours wrapped up by the end of 2019 and I've only had a couple of short, unpaid commissions since.
But I do miss it, and would love to get back into writing professionally. Hire me, folks.

Re. #40forForty - A big part of why I did this insane countdown is because it gave me a reason to 'sort of' write again, to deadline, and to a strict word count limitation.
Is it my best work? Of course not. But I hope it brought some of you some joy as I tried to be clever in a small space.
