Curious to know how many riders of the M104 get their rides subsidized already? You can look it up here.

~600,000 rides on the M104 were subsidized in 2024 for seniors/people with disabilities. (About 30% of rides)

tracreports.org and deportationdata.org are both great projects that collect information about federal immigration "enforcement" through Freedom of Information requests and make it publicly available.

Many federal lawsuits in the news!

We provide access to PACER, the system of record for court documents, for the J-school community.

Even without PACER, you can find newsy complaints in RECAP.

This map is a great resource for NYC reporters, especially if you want to know, for example, which assembly members represent the people living in a particular community district, or which community school districts overlap with a city council district.

At last night's mayoral debate candidates were asked about their go-to pizzerias. We often feature pizza joints in our newsletter, the Research Slice. Read about DaVinci's, L&B Spumoni, and V&T in our archive.
