Kimmel has the right to say whatever he wants; he doesn’t have the right to be employed by ABC. Don’t get me wrong—I think it’s both sad and outrageous that the media companies are caving instead of fighting Trump, but Kimmel’s firing, though terrible, isn’t a violation of his 1st A rights.

Been having the same argument since Don Imus was fired: The 1st A doesn’t protect employees from being fired by corporate bosses when the corporate bosses don’t like what the employee was saying. Relying on media companies to defend free speech was always a shaky proposition.

Personally, I don’t wish him to be fired, I wish him to be forced to do a 2-hour-long show on Fox News interviewing fine people like yourself who have experienced homelessness and can explain this to the Fox viewers who need to be schooled.

That anyone could grow to adulthood in the U.S. and not have enough compassion to realize that being unhoused could happen to almost ANYONE they know (due to loss of a job, or an abusive spouse, a health issue, or a terrible landlord, etc., etc., etc.) is just shameful.

It all made sense when he called it “the Jeffrey Epstein HOAX.” He’s going to say the whole thing made up by Comey and the Dems “just Iike Russia-gate.” Fires the evil prosecutor who went after poor Epstein and Maxwell. Will pardon Maxwell next. Since whole thing a hoax, files fake anyway.

So wrong. Like diametrically opposite. Succession—meh, and pretty stupid, with unlikable characters and wooden acting. Treme, Boardwalk both outstanding, well-acted, absorbing dramas with well-drawn characters and stories capable of transporting viewers to places/times they didn’t know much about.

Better start hoarding tomatoes, cars, and auto parts. I would start hoarding Red Oval (Christy’s) Stoned Wheat Thins, but the international conglomerate already killed those off. Prices of cars and food are going to be pretty interesting in Trump 2.0.

He resigned from current Congress. Was re-elected, so could show back up in Jan to take up seat in next Congress.
