This is truly an outrage. When politicians are doing our business they should automatically be considered under oath. Lying to us is not acceptable.

As a former office manager, I can attest that this is the appropriate method to use for "I want your attention, please."

Sounds just like ours--although celery was stuffed with jarred pimento spread. Parents were from KS but we lived in CA when in the years of my memory.

Thank you! Mr. Lee was the custodian of our elementary school. At age 6 he was the first black person in my life--seventy years later he is still remembered for being a kind man.

I thought of it more as an aggressive sales person. Dad lived far from me so it surprised me on the day his body was picked up by the coroner I got 2 phones calls from businesses in his area code on my phone from a different area. The only place I'd given that number that day were official business.

Isn't that irritating! I got a couple of texts on my recently deceased father's cell phone asking someone about a property for sale. On the second one I just responded "wrong number" only to immediately get a return text asking if I had a property to sell.
