Apart from anything else, it was simply incredibly stupid on part of the splicers. Someone was certin to notice it and loudly proclaim how it confirmed all claims about bias. Makes the task of the rest of us trying to defeat Trump etc with rational refutation, not pranks, all the more difficult.

Dear Viz. Yes, I saw a shrow scampering along the canal bank the other day - only now do I realise why it wouldn't respond to my calls of "here, little shrow". I'd always assumed it must answer to the Shakespearian prounciation, as popularised in his noted jeu d'esprit The Taming of the Shrow.

Believe it or not I used to stay & dine free in that 5-star hotel (Krasnypolska). Courtesy of a KLM offer (with tourist board) that bent IATA rules to give one-night enticements to intercontinental flyers proceeding somewhere else (LHR in my case). After months in Nigeria, it was like dreaming.
