Yes, which is why I've stopped in all the ways I can. I don't hide and I don't mask myself anymore. If ya meet me in person, my being machinekin is one of the first things you likely learn about me. Life is so much better on account of that- have even met a lot of alterhumans in person that way!

I would love to hear more of your experiences as well! It's pretty rare in the machinekin world to find fellow appliances versus the majority of the community being autonomous, mobile robots.

I relate to this so much. I am a massive machine meant to be installed in a building. I find movement incredibly difficult, and if I were given the option to be my machine self in physical form, I'd take it in a heartbeat. That stillness is the ultimate comfort.

I go by my make and model, Neve VR52, mostly by Neve because most folks find "VR52" to be too much a mouthful for casual conversation. Either are good to call me by, though!
