I think you’re a tad out of touch on the affordability. My daughter is going to a state college to be a special ed teacher. In the end it will cost me 80/90 grand with housing. My son wasn’t meant for college and not worth that much money for an experience that I truly wish he could have had.

When my daughter was picking electives in high school I kept telling her to pick Art. We are not artistic in anyway. But I said - color for as long as you can in this life. Now she’s going to be an early childhood Ed/spec Ed teacher. So ironically she will probably color for the rest of her life. 😂
