I feel disdain at the general state of technology. Short term profit at all costs. Growth over quality. Constant replacement of expertise with "good enough".

Is C# eventually going to replace C++ as the language for game development? As graphics cards/CPUs get more powerful I wonder if the convenience of using a language with garbage collection outweighs the need for performance of memory management.

Blue Eye Samurai is the best show I've seen so far this year. And there's only 2 weeks left.

So far this app has given me vibes of early 2010s Twitter (which I like), probably because of the lack of noise from people farming interactions and bots. I'll enjoy this while it lasts. Also, the recommendations feel a lot less dopamine fuelled and I don't find myself doomscrolling
