Also the official DBD stat tracker now tracks alternative game modes: 2v8, Chaos Shuffle and Lights Out. Also tracked the *extremely* short lived, one time only My Little Oni mode lol

I didn't get to add this in the feedback, but please add Dredge. He probably won't be good in the mode, but boy howdy will I pick this goofy son of a gun every time.

Sometimes 2v8 feels like a behavioral experiment by BHVR lol

I've witnessed some truly bizarre actions in the last couple days in the mode. I think in part b/c it's a more casual game mode and that doesn't seem to take MMR into account you get some weirdos

I'm not sure you're really understanding anything I've written thus far, so I see no reason to spend more time here. Best of luck.

This is why, as I've stated, BHVR is trying to fix the bigger problem (player retention & slight killer overperformance) first, so they can better handle the other problems down the line. Some maps & killers need a lot of work. MMR is a huge problem, but we need to fix the core loop first.

So just from those metrics, that means survivors are in more need of buffs than killers. These buffs are also intended to minimize pain points. DBD loses more survivor players than killers b/c slugging and tunneling generate stagnant gameplay that is unrewarding, thus players uninstall.

We know right now that killers are performing slightly above average. On DBD Day BHVR released a wide range of stats. For instance we know that globally 41% of survivors are Solo Queue and they have a 38% survival rate, BHVR has also told us several times they aim to have a 40% survival rate.

Yes. The game needs work from all angles. However like I said BHVR is tackling the biggest problem first: which is that the optimal gameplay loop of DBD leads to a boring game w/ many pain points. It's the largest reason for player loss. Once they improve that they can move on to the other problems.

The community pushed back on everything, so the best BHVR could do was make tunneling/camping less appealing. They're trusting the playerbase to figure out they shouldn't be chasing the faster, stealthier survivor that just got unhooked.
