Today we joined @sunrisemvmtchi and hundreds of others to protest Dick Durbin’s complicity with this fascist administration. One of our own members Jonathan spoke at the event calling Durbin to either fight for democracy or step down.

Ald. Raymond Lopez has proposed an ordinance (O2023-000422) that would weaken the Welcoming City Ordinance and would violate the Illinois TRUST Act. It is expected to be voted on this Wednesday, January 15.

Please call your alderperson and ask them to vote NO on Wednesday on this ordinance.
