And while we have been on this path for decades now, the rest of the industrialized world has passed us by in so many ways. The technological advancements being made require educated societies if countries want to remain competitive in the world. An ignorant society has no future in this world.

I think the auto industry found out how far affluent buyers weren't going to carry them. Instead of chasing those who have money, why not demand everyone have disposable incomes to buy cars, homes, plane tickets, etc.

Great shot.

They did a great job of following the book. It was excellent.

Racist people have a very narrow world view based in hate and ignorance. They rarely ever see the good people of a different race do, only that they are different, and if they can't exploit them, then they don't want them around. I personally believe that the bigger the melting pot is, the better.

Considering that you still believe the election was stolen tells me that you still believe the conspiracy of the deep state. This is like a Republican telling everyone that he is a Libertarian after being confronted with G.W. Bushes lies for needing to invade Iraq. Your still brain washed.

It goes without saying.

This is like the 15-year-old bully showing-up to confiscate all of the fifth graders lunch money. Only this time it's oil they're after.

Weak men and the influence of money is why he was allowed to run again. And the ones that put that money up for his return to the White House are as traitorous as the idiots that broke into the capitol building.

Since Reagan, republicans have blamed their failures on the preceding democratic president. Old, boring and nothing new.

Joke or not, Australians do appear to have their shit together. So, hears to another " Shrimp on the Barby".

Just no place like the Oregon coast.

Supreme Court really surprised me with this ruling considering how far to the right the court has been made by corrupt politicians with a big agenda. Good message for public employees who feel they have the right to insert their personal beliefs into their work.

Great contrast with the spot color on black and white.

Reminds me of a lot of Fall mornings in Oregon.

The first factual thing that has come out of his mouth all year.

Sorry to say, but the national sentiment is in the toilet right now, with good cause. National Retail Federation reads the room about as good as Target read their customer base. Personally, I hope they don't see half of that trillion-dollar estimate. Send a direct message to the White House.

The U.S. is losing period.

Cuomo represents the status-quo. New Yorkers might not necessarily like him, but they know he will not bring change, which makes them comfortable. We have an overabundance of old, narrow-minded dinosaurs in this country, and change scares the hell out of them. Thus, the mess the country is in.

From its beginning, 60 minutes set the bar so high for professional journalism. In 2013, Lara Logan was fired for not doing due diligence on a report about the Benghazi attacks. The response Target faced when they caved to the fascists is the one CBS should face now that they are doing the same.
November 3, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Hard to imagine a newspaper having the audacity to go after a President like the Washington Post did in this day and age. And Nixon, like Trump, hated the press. True investigative journalism was once a profession held in high regard. Now they are just pundits pretending to be journalist. Pathetic.

Blue states should do this, and while they're at it, we should drop the pretense of "United States of America" to collective states of North America, because we have never been united on much of anything.
