Great photo that wonderfully captures the setting, but I really don't like that "space". Too bad it couldn't have remained as Dr. David Hosack's "Elgin Botanic Garden", pictured here circa 1810 . . . a resource later squandered by Columbia University.

Just a few moment ago, I discovered that my late-wife's great aunt (Elizabeth Mulliner Luboff, one-time spouse of the legendary Norman Luboff) helped to "give birth" to a jazz classic . . . "Someday My Prince Will Come" . . . with this recording in 1944. COOL! secondhandsongs.com/performance/...
