💯 this. I thought I’d go for those colosseum upgrades before trying hard mode on NG+ but I pulled my hair out for a week just finishing the last two, and couldn’t stand playing the game anymore afterward. Hard mode had to join my backlog awaiting a slow games year, but 2025 was definitely not it.

Oof, 4 in last? That’s sad to hear. I thought doing worse than 2 would be impossible with Max being the protagonist, and was really excited for a return to form. Only a couple hours in so far, but this has me bracing myself for what might come later now. 🥺
