The best stories have fully fleshed out antagonists. Work just as hard on your villain as you would your mc. I mean REALLY dig in to their psyche; eat their favorite meals, listen to their favorite music, wear their favorite clothes, murder their favorite vict—wait don’t do that. #authors #writing

Did it hurt? When you clickandy "find/replace all" to change your MC's name to Andy and endandy up changing every regular past tense verb as well?
