If you want to start listening to Evergrey, I would suggest "The Atlantic".

They are a prog/power metal band with dark vibes (their later records have been partly influenced by Nevermore) and heavy, killer riffs. Their latest releases are cool, although I prefer their first ones, more prog-oriented

There was a time where Born Of Osiris' "The Discovery" was a stable presence in my MP3 player.

Job For A Cowboy is a cool band, their latest release is killer!

I saw Slayer live in 2005, along with Iron Maiden, it was a festival with many other bands (is where I saw Evergrey for the first time. Love at first sight!)
