Why do they have such a problem with free movement? Is it because British people who study and work abroad may never return? Or, worse still, return with ideas of disrupting the status quo?

We kicked off the day with a training session from @neuroteachers.bsky.social, where we discussed the importance of language + identity when creating inclusive learning spaces for neurodivergent children. We look forward to having ongoing conversations about neurodivergence here at Literacy Tree.

Yeah I mean it’s the same 8 or 9 arguments over and over. It’s really disheartening. I thought this platform was a fresh start?

It’s not a case of me calling what you describing “firm”. What you just defined align with definition of firm . The meanings of words matter which is why we have a dictionary. So we can look them up. Strict means demanding obedience. Is that what you want?

Strict demands obedience. Firm is steady but not excessive power. Consistent is acting the same way over time . Therefore we need to firm and consistent. Not strict. Definitely warm though.

Yeah I get that but I don’t see the point of being strict.

They just seem warm. I’ve never really seen the point of strictnesses. We need to firm. Not strict. And we definitely need to be warm , compassionate and kind.

These are great but how are they “warm strict” ?
