I have a vested interest in her views on the SEND crisis and keep getting disappointed by what she says. ‘Inclusion’ at any cost as opposed to building more settings with neurodivergent ch in mind, ignoring the fact the attendence crisis is due to neurodivergent kids not coping. Disheartening.

Ive always thought they should replace ofsted with a support system. As in the go in and say what are you struggling with, how can we help? Rather than a judgement and then buggering off for a few years

There is huge discontent in the education sector. Too much pressure from the top, too little money and the breakdown of all the agencies that are supposed to support families and young people. The complaints are not the tip of the iceberg

Ah ok I understand now. I think if there is a family history then there is a good chance that neurodivergence could be inherited. I would look for signs of being unable to regulate emotions and big emotions being triggered by sensory input like hand dryers/smells/ being too hot .
