In Kris’s room, the carpet shows that the left triangle is Susie. Susie is the girl with hope crossed on her heart, reinforced by her being a symbol for hope. In the final room, the leftmost hero is shattered, and hope is said to be lost. Susie says none of the heroes would “let that happen.”

Ik that it’s actually transgenic mice, but we’re still doing research on transgender mice, just like how we test other medicines on mice: to learn more about it and make it safer, which is *exactly* what conservatives claim is the problem with HRT.

[1/2] I don’t really get the whole “being trans is hard-coded in your DNA” thing, it’s always felt really wrong to me. I feel like this viewpoint makes it feel like you’re “forced” into an identity, something that we’re already tired of. And I get that it’s supposed to be a defense against people…

What if we could take a human egg cell and take the all the existing chromosomes out (with the exception of an X chromosome) and replace them with those of a male? If we combined that with a womb transplant, would biological #mpreg be possible?

Sharks are so cool like what do you mean there's a class of organisms that's a perfect metaphor for how society limits groups to a single (usually false) idea and uses that to stigmatize them, while governments claiming to be protecting you use singular incidents as justification for genocide?
