Gonna go see about a mind.

Reading zone in Portland. Have books, have dog, just need my coffee. ☕️

Exploring Hawthorne District of Portland with my best buddies, Mike and Erin.

So, I don’t know if he’s entirely comfortable with me sharing this, but George Bailey the Dog has some vision issues according to his veterinarian.

What’s the word from the BlueSky community?

Trim his facial fur back a bit or just leave it over hung and cute?

And now we wait, George. 🍿

As I sip my coffee and grieve over discovery of tragic news from around the world, George Bailey the Dog brings me his well worn shark and purple monkey toys.

Holster that phone Mister, and play with me!

While I am no friend of actual terrorists, I believe dropping a precision bomb on an apartment building to get one “bad guy” is brutal. The elderly, children and disabled living there did not deserve such a wretched, and wicked act.

Sadly, our nations flag is often soaked in the blood of innocents.

Leaning into my diversive curiosity, I stopped for a moment this morning to observe the floating particles near the window in my Portland study.

I imagined colorful little creatures riding on each particle, with a qualified pilot reminding them to keep their hands inside the particle at all times.

I’m gonna give you credit for this one. 🤓

Found this little guy under the tarp on my firewood this morning.

No clue as to what it is.

Anyone?

Anyone?

When I get to heaven, Stevie Wonder will be there first to greet me.

He’ll still be blind. and that’s the way he wants it to be. Because he doesn’t need to see the glory and the powerful radiant love of God.

And then, my friends, the party shall commence.

One of the things I like best about my dog, George Bailey.

When he goes to the dog park, he doesn’t run to a dog that looks just like him.

He runs over to all the dogs individually in the park and tries to get them to all come out to the center and play together.

Please play with me.

Right. First 100 Days down. Anybody else feeling this?

Supposedly, the footstool is for my feet, but according to George Bailey my feet need to stay on the floor.

Books ‘n dog - always a nice pairing.

Dance of the Moths at the Procession of the Species Parade here in Olympia today!

That’s fair.

Hmmmm. The. Concerned Parent.

Let me try something else.

Ah yes, the “bravery” of those anonymous concerned parents!

Heading out on the streets of Portland for a few hours. Bringing my camera to look for some pictures of spring beauty, birds, those invasive ICE creatures, and other interesting stuff.

The Road Goes On Forever, and the party never ends.

Found this at Grovers Curiosity Shop here in Portland.

Marcie asked me why I wanted to read it.

I told her that as I try and know the perspective, the stories of others, there are some places where my mind can’t fully go.

I need their words to guide me there.

That was pretty much the end of my gunfighter days. I fell for the old ruse, “get ‘em looking into the sun” before you slap leather.

So, you’re not really comfortable with the idea of objective truth?

Neither are monsters.

The cruel, the wicked, despise objective truth. They embrace others chasing subjective truth over “wrong is wrong.”

The wicked are coordinated - like wolves attacking, they hit their prey from all sides.

Putting this on my timeline as a reminder, as a warning to myself.

Oh, it will make sure that you can still breathe, but what you don’t know is what it’s putting inside you, and what will hatch out of you - eventually.
