Ever feel like this?

buildings and hospitals, hospital trains and ambulances marked with the Red Cross emblem. Even individual little children on the ice of a lake were fired upon from aircraft. The Russian perception of warfare has not changed at all in 85 years.

Just played this delightful game by Red Thread Games. One of the best I've ever played and I've been gaming for 35 years.

Yeah, the Swedes really know how to nail it. The glittery shadow of Abba is indeed long. And they have somehow found a way to sell their music in glass jars as well.

A good song can be a part of the soundtrack of your life, but music is about more than what we can hear. It is also about what we can see. What we can imagine.

What we can dream. Whether it's dreaming rocking with your favorite band or walking with hybrid beings in endless rain. (40/40)

Similarly, writing electronic music is not really about inputting notes and values or sequences of graphic blocks of different length in a computer program. This probably doesn't surprise anyone. (38/40)

Besides, I was and still am a nerd, so tech it was. With a lot of work. And, shockingly, when you make music with tech, a lot of the work is technical. Sometimes to almost an insane degree. (35/40)

Not exactly the electronics you could see in Blade Runner, but close enough. Besides, you could play a cyberpunk game with it. So, with around $2000, you could buy yourself strong associations to sci-fi awesomeness. (33/40)

Back in the 90s, when my friends were playing the guitar, I channeled my interest in a machine called the computer. Mine had a floppy disk drive and a CPU equaling the processing power of today’s toaster, but it was a decent machine nonetheless. (32/40)

An ultra-violent heist by psycho hackers is also in the making. So, you know, the usual stuff. In many respects, compared to spending a day in an Iron Age village, a stroll in a future dystopian megacity must be night. But the contradiction is in many respects illusory. (28/40)

See the people I'm writing lyrics about, what they do and where they live. I really do, it’s like watching a movie. I visualize dark cities bathing in neon light and constant rain, where part human part machine figures roam in their trench coats. (26/40)

(Yes, the very same genre where old churches and graveyards form the usual surroundings so maybe our narrow plank is sturdier than it first looks.)

Speaking of goth rock without mentioning The Sisters of Mercy is something you don’t do. (20/40)

Not the crossroads where, according to musician folklore, the Faustian pact is made between the Devil and a wandering guitar player who dreams to thereby master their instrument, but at the intersection of knowing and where we want to go with it. (16/40)
