was utterly captivated by its shape and the intriguing fact that we will never know the nun's identity. This inspired me to create a glitchy tribute to her. I took a photo of the skull and proceeded to corrupt it through several rounds of sonification and pixel sorting.

Although my friend wasn't permitted to keep the artifact, she did so anyway, and it now serves as a decorative piece in her home.

One day, while hanging out with a friend who happens to be an anthropologist, she showed me a female skull at her house. Her team had discovered it during an excavation beneath an old convent, and it likely belonged to a nun.
