To be perfectly honest, both the right and the left are dividing US Jews and defining what aspects of Jewish identity are acceptable. In fact it is because the right and the left are using the Jewish identity as a proxy for their own fight that US Jews feel alienated right now.

There are living and dead hostages who have not yet been returned. Hamas brought some of the living hostages to one of the more recent exchanges and made them watch from inside a car.
