This suggests that #yawning observation may be a contextual cue for rest, rather than merely triggering a #MotorResonance response.

2/4 #Chimpanzees observed an #android portraying specific facial expressions, including yawns and gapes.
They exhibited significantly more #yawn #contagion when the android displayed a fully wide-open mouth (Yawn condition) than in the control conditions (Gape and Close).
