“Musk said that the great weakness of Western civilization is empathy. You fool. Empathy is the glue of humanity. It is the basis of civilization.”
“Music can be a call to arms, but music itself changes nothing. It won’t go further unless you are determined to act upon it.” Bob Geldof, the rock star-turned-activist who helped organize Live Aid 40 years ago, reflected on the benefit concert’s impact and why it could not happen today.

[SMM Analysis] A New Revolution in Hydrogen Production: How AEM Electrolyzers Lead the Way in Off-Grid Hydrogen Production | SMM
As a core carrier of the global energy transition, the iteration of hydrogen production technology directly determines the pace of industrial development. Following alkaline electrolyzers (ALK) and pr...

1. Hydrogen makes up about 20% of current energy demand in all of Eurelectric's 2050 scenarios (~2,000TWh)

The REPowerEU strategy (660TWh by 2030) gets us one third of the way there via imports & domestic production - so of the 10,400TWh total EU energy demand this is 6.5% from hydrogen in 5 years

The cost of SMR with Carbon Capture & Storage is roughly $2 per kg (if CCS ever works), so the target for green hydrogen must be production at less than $2 per kg. Here’s one solution to that, there are others.
