Aliens definitely exposed the alien in a way that removed the mystery/horror of the xeno itself and lead a precedent for later movies, but god I do love it.

I feel sorry for those whose introduction starts with seeing the xeno - I first saw Alien with no preconceptions and it blew my mind!

Oh man, their self-titled album was such a favourite for me that year. I listened to it a lot while running/working out, perfect high energy grooves
