Happy Halloween! My very tattered and torn-up #ghost for your amusement-- she's a wraith, to be exact. #warcraftart

This was anti-burnout art. Something different, and for myself. Been wanting to make art of Lysa's ghostly self for a while, but man, a lot's been happening. So, here it is.
Against a hazy teal background where the barest hint of massive chains can be seen, floats a tattered ghost. She has an empty hood, and her legs trail off into ragged, cloth-like wisps. Parts of the ghost are damaged and sewn together by pale blue stitches. Her lower arms are just the shapes of bones, and her hands are claws. Her left arm is shattered, and sort of stuck in place by mysterious means. The ghost from the previous image is now floating in front of the windows of a giant spectral lantern: three blue windows with a crossbar through them. Below the ghostly figure are a lot of shadowy, reaching hands, all seem intent on grabbing at or for the ghost.

Some interior pieces from my VTT group's previous campaign (the one that just wrapped). I'm not the best at a lot of things, but I try to follow the Bob Ross rule of 'giving an impression' and letting the imagination do the rest.
The interior of a fantasy tavern. Crimson roots grow through the walls and floors, and string lights are used to decorate the inside. Trophies from war adorn the walls, including weapons, drums, and skulls. The fireplace glows magenta rather than orange. Attendees include an orange cat, a strange owl-deer, a blue elf, a kelpie, and a hooded lizard. A large blue-feathered friendly figure servers at the bar, and a humanoid with spider-like limbs acts as an attendant. The overall vibe is cozy, and hints at a larger establishment with stairs going up the back of the room. An image of a witchy chamber, adorned with drapery, occult tapestry, and glinting mirrors hanging from the ceiling. Shelves and tables are decorated with magical reagents (crystals, cards, bowls of herbs, parchments and scrolls) and shelves are lined with tomes. A plinth in the middle of the room holds a bowl of eerie crimson light. A circular window lights the room, because lord knows those candles aren't doing a good job of it. A large round room with four visible doors, overgrown with crimson roots. Fonts of glowing crimson liquid space out the room, and a giant statue of some sort of tree (also overgrown with real roots) stands tall in the middle. Lights overhead shine down a pink glow. The stone room has a stone plinth in front of the trees, which holds an old tome. We can't see what's written in the tome. A vibrantly-lit stone corridor bathed in orange and red light. Everything is very ornate, with violently violet banners hanging above. Many doorways line the corridor, spaced by columns. Crimson roots have broken through the floor, cracking the stone.

30 minute speedpaint of my 3.5e character-- a skeleton paladin, called Saint Lucius the 17th by the temple. Described, personality wise, as a "mute Kronk, but a skeleton".

Those who've known me a while may also find Luci here a little similar to an older character. 😉

Also, have the "final boss" that my players faced. They were pretty sure they'd have to kill him, but surprise, he was just a little guy, kinda trapped, and very much a coward! I mean, his name was Lord Craven, after all...
A strange and thin humanoid creature wearing a stained white mask adorned with a crown of thorns. Blue glowing eyes peer fearfully from his mask. He is clutching the "throne" of roots he sits on in fear, but the roots also entangle him, trapping him there.

Oh right, I did paint a giant eldritch tree-queen for my vttrpg group. I'm still kinda proud of it, and the players' reaction was pretty great. I don't think they expected her to be so big and gnarly.
An artist's depiction of a massive, gnarled tree growing up through a ravine. Her bark is twisted and almost fleshy. Unlike a normal tree, she doesn't have any leaves, and is entirely crimson, with bright blood-red light seeping through the gaps in her bark.

Hello, I'm not dead! I've been suffering a months-long art block and finally broke through with art of my grandfatherly shadow-cultist, Nadaelius.

This scratchy-paint style is fun, and I might do more with it. That's twice now that it's gotten me through art block. #digitalart

I did make a reference for her around the same time as making this, and last night I doodled up some more expressions. I had fun during my first RP back!

(Digital, 6+ hrs) Recent #art I finished of my psychopomp character, Lysabet. In all versions of this character, she's a seer to the spirit world- sometimes, much to her chagrin.

I'm returning to WoW, so I decided to revisit that version of the character for this piece.
A hooded woman stands in an eerie, foggy pine forest. She's wearing a cloak, with a long jacket and a shoulder-satchel. She has one hand held nervously over her chest, and the other hand holding onto an engraved staff. The same hooded woman from the previous picture, in the same pose. However, now it is obvious why she is nervous: ghosts reach for her from all sides, and a ghostly glow comes from her left glove, staff, and eyes. The sky has become a vortex of souls.

More images I'm pulling from my VTT's archives; this time, encounters. Because we're a RP group that started in WoW, the first two may look similar to Maw denizens- as we ran a campaign there. The third and fourth images are post-WoW, when we branched off away from the game.

Older illustrations I did for my VTT group a few years back. The hanging garden, cavern, and orrery were all located inside the ruins in the fourth image. There were other locations that I painted like this, but I like these the best, even if I don't use them anymore. ✨
