Temeraire by Naomi novik
A painting from historical fantasy book. A black almost Chinese style dragon with a large wing span is flying close to the water and you can see the small figure of a human on one of his shoulders. Behind him are Napoleonic era sailing ships that almost blend into a bright but cloudy sky. One of those ships has a french flag on top. It's a painting done for the Temeraire series.

Does anybody know how to block these bots en mass? In previous cases you block the website base and it blocks them but some how blocking the buff dot ly thing doesn't work. And so they keep spamming with new bots.

Drop an alien that's not from Star Wars or Star Trek
Da'an from Earth: Final Conflict. A being deliberately portrayed as genderless, and canonically semi energy based rather than matter based like humans. They do however have a more solid form as seen in this image pale skin, slightly molted in colour. No hair. Large flat ears pressed against their side. Pale blue eyes and a large forehead in a way that looks graceful. Wearing a slightly shiny purple body suit.

A giant inflatable kangaroo sits central but behind thr band reaching g far above the elevated drum stage. Thin laser like green lights shoot forth from the back of the stage around thr kangaroo. Thus was done in place of the original floating Pig that the real Floyd did. Wide strobe rainbow lights shoot forth from the circular screen at the back of thr stage. Thr band including the backing singers are playing beneath thr almost canopy of rainbow. Photo shows the stage in the distance from far back in the stalls. Everything is dark except for a stardust of light from a glitter ball. It isn't the normal sparce glitter ball lighting, it looks like a neutrino star sending off many beams of light with the walls of the theatre covered in speckled light amongst the dark.

It looks like thr air itself is red light, with some focused white light beams crossing up and down. The circular screen has pink kangaroos standing in white straws mimicking thr hammers marching in th4 classic Pink Floyd video. Members of the band playing with no individual focus. Half the stage is red and half a bright blue. In the blue half is an inflatable cartoonist demon/zombie figure in a school uniform representing an oppressive headmaster figure. This balloon figure is tall and reaches from floor of th3 stage to the ceiling. A slightly out if focus picture. The saxophone player is centre stage. He has one kind of saxophone and is standing in front of a stand holding a different kind of saxophone. The player switched between one and the other between breaths. Thr air is full of a multitude of colours. You can't see the and members or drums. Just colours. Red and green and blue and some yellow. The audience is sitting in thr colours which though varied and don't have harsh boarders, also don't blur into each other.

Went to see the Austalian #PinkFloyd tribute band the other day. They were brilliant and I really enjoyed it. Except for the one boomer condescendingly telling me that the Real Pink Floyd was broken up and this wasn't them as if I had some how missed that.

But seriously, very good show.
One of thr women backing singers performing a solo in centre stage with purple lighting. No light on the band, she is the focus. A cyan blue stage lighting. The hung circular screen is showing a sky scraper whilst the central figure of the bad is a saxophone player. Thr lighting is is turquoise but subdued giving the stage a feeling of depth and contrast. The circular screen has an alien reading a newspaper with the caption 'breaking news: we have all the answers'. Meanwhile centre stage is a male solo singer wearing a black suit. On the circular screen at the back of the stage there's the image of a solar eclipse. In real lice this was a moving image with the eclipse taking place but this snap shot is early in the process with only a bit of thr moon covering the sun. There is a rainbow flat and wide strobe light reaching out to the viewer and a male solo singer centre stage.

Me and the cat hanging out. Been off work for two weeks as folks went on holiday and the cat is accustomed to someone letting her in and out all day. We've got into a nice routine which I'll miss when I head back. Timberborn, cat, cooking, and naps. That's my last two weeks.
