Humans moderate themselves when they're dependant on the limited communities that IRL constitute (at least the % that don't do it because they intrinsically care about others). Eliminate the dependency, the warding net falls down and the unfettered antisocial drives win in reward vs punishment.

As much as this has its positives, with time I've come to miss the era of closed social media, to realise that it was, at the very least, better than the antisocial macroecosystem that public social networks have -inevitably?- morphed into.
