I’ll never forget being in class, reading the section on the bombs dropping on people while they watched television, and something in my brain snapping. Like I knew I would never be able to look at the world the same way. One of the most terrifying books I’ve ever read.

First up… this RPG blew my mind as a youngster. The world building in Shadowrun completely enthralled me. The idea that indigenous people would use magic to retake America, Japan buying up California etc. Whenever I’m writing near future fiction it’s primarily inspired by Shadowrun.
