Nozawa killed it as usual. I’m so amazed that she can shift straight back into young Goku and it sounds totally natural. She will never, ever truly be replaced and I’m so happy we get another new series with her as Goku.

It might be that when the guy voices a fully grown Piccolo, he sounds perfect. Whoever they got for Vegeta sounded perfect tho.

I will say that hearing new voices for everyone was quite jarring. It’s a little ambiguous, because I can’t tell how much some of the actors are purposefully trying to sound younger. Piccolo’s VA for example didn’t sound much like Furukawa to me, but also definitely sounded young

And it looks so good! And the soundtrack sounds like a modern take on Kikuchi’s shit! Gawd damn!
