Perhaps get soft/2B pencil and use it to pop a bit of graphite in that E string groove in the nut, if that's where the problem is.

I've never done it with a guitar, but I've had success with cello & violin with this trick

I'm looking at a room of bags & boxes piled up, and wondering if I have it in me to continue. I'm a bit inspired to give it a crack....

Yep that awkward stage in the process when everything goes heaps messy 🫤

Sending vibes of encouragement & MEepy solidarity though, acknowledging what a huge effort this is⚡️👊

Here's hoping the next few days are gentle.

I recently wrote a reflective piece for the Polyphony blog @the-polyphony.bsky.social explaining the motivations behind my work on ME, and what I think a medical humanities approach has to offer this field - and health research more generally

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's the saddest thing when it feels like someone goes too soon.

Thank you for sharing him with us! And for letting us know that he has passed 😢💔

Speculation has its place but surely it's time to be A LOT more cautious in attributing suffering of groups of people to mass sociogenic illness,...

The second statement was by McEvedy & Beard in 1970 when they retrospectively rewrote the history of the Royal Free Hospital #MECFS outbreak, by attributing it to epidemic hysteria. In doing so they also went against the weight of evidence, and made that call without examining or interviewing...

I'm not a psychiatrist and can only trust that this is true…but is anyone else astounded that this dialogue doesn't seem to have moved on in more than 50 years?

Even more so when both statements - from 2025 & 1970 - were made against the weight of evidence about the causes of the two outbreaks?
