I’m really glad you sent me his response. So many situations came pouring into my head and I got so mad I didn’t say more in each situation, been louder or more forceful about how the behavior was inappropriate in the moment. I don’t want to make excuses for myself or spread wrong info.

You’re right, it’s not a great situation, & it’s really important that people understand one comment on one photo can cause incredible harm. Intent never overrides impact, and for him to still be enabled over 20 yrs of problematic behavior, it crosses into territory he shouldn’t be allowed in.

He’d taken pictures of her at a recent event and uploaded them onto various platforms. Racist comments were left on those pictures of his, and he proceeded to like and support those comments. People are finally coming together to block him, he’s gone private on socials.
