I think the fact that they didn’t fire him is worse. He left because the rookie HC they had before Doc decided to cuss him out because he was taking extra time at practice with Dame and Giannis and they were late to some meeting with the HC. So Stotts just quit.

Really sucks that they hired two coaches who were uniquely unqualified to maximize Dame the minute they traded for Dame.

That’s fair, but I think there’s a chance they could have gotten another second from another team, and don’t forget people thought Kuz was going to be good with the Bucks. This is all a big what if though. I doubt they called on Jeremy.

Why not? Less time under his contract, he would require less playing time, and be a good mentor for the young wings, and he could probably be flipped as an expiring contract for another pick at the deadline.
