Looks like @wordpress/env or wp-env now supports Multi-site and phpMyAdmin by default. Kudos Miguel Fonseca for the additions. Documentation is also being added here github.com/WordPress/gu...

Very very interesting and I’m glad this conversation is happening. It opens up a lot more user (and dev) friendly possibilities.
