As I am reading The Mismeasure of Man, I realise how relevant this book still is in relation to the bio-essentialist interpretations of gender. The arguments are of course not 100% analogous, but I believe that in their basic structure all bio-essentialist arguments rely on the same fallacies.

I have been reading Foster and Saito side by side and it becomes increasingly clear to me that Saito is developing the ideas that Foster first proposed by reading Marx more closely than was possible before the release of the MEGA.
