as an actual update despite doing well in spirits for a few days he seems to not be eating again though he ate some treats and a little bit of food and is purring and snuggling away. i think he was happy i brought the towel he likes to lay on as well as his toys even tho he didn’t play w them much…

sorry i am just so depressing right now. i had pets growing up but i never had one quite like him. a pet that is explicitly mine. a cat that i raised from a stray kitten who wandered into my home and pulled me from the ledge both metaphorically and literally. my silly little baby cat :(

herbert had to go to the vet yesterday and it seems like he has some problems with his kidneys meaning i have to cross the country to get him care, so far his costs have been £450 and after this consult it’s gonna be much more so if anyone would be willing to help i’d appreciate it a lot

@rosehathaway.bsky.social posted on twitter about iwtv as muppets and despite being locked i did an in depth assignment of how that would look so as a muppetologist this is what ive found. credentials: ive seen every single muppet movie and almost every tv show (bar muppets now & mayhem)
daniel is the most likely to be a human in this case though as he's the interviewer and has a close connection to the plot while not being the primary character but the other human actors would be generally the secondary cast of s1 (tom anderson, the alderman, etc) antoinette should be human too. i think vamps = muppet is too easy and prevents a lot of potential turning so there should be like a 70/30 split of muppet/human for the coven. the vampire sam, santiago and eglee are my initial human picks but there can be a couple more idc jumping back to season 1 you have louis' family as muppets too (im picturing kermit playing louis tbh and robin as paul or grace could be interesting though i am thinking paul. the baby scene with a tadpole muppet would take away a lot of the trauma but also be incredible) and maybe it's just the combo of blonde + matching personalities + a deep love of kermiggy but miss piggy as a career definining moment of gender nonconformity should play lestat. i can already see the 4th wall break where she doesn't actually have the french accent and kermit points it out and she makes a sly comment about how accent work will require extra pay or something. i can't rly decide who armand should be played by bc im also 50/50 on him being a muppet or human but a muppet COULD be fun. if he is a muppet i think gonzo could be a good one? it’s hard to imagine a muppet bringing the surface-level subdued yet buried chaos in armand. he's honestly the one guy who throws everything because lestat IS a muppet in his essence and energy. but gonzo during muppets from space especially has some very gentle & sincere moments also gonzo being an unplaceable weirdo adds to armands character a lot esp w how much you can't get his deal. and the louis/armand relationship immediately signals to the audience that something is weird if gonzo and kermit are suddenly together also! after thinking about it (bc again i was 50/50 on this too) i can't really think of a good muppet to play claudia. honestly most of the reason is there aren't many prominent female muppets and i think her being played by a human would also add a bit to audience signalling
