Best advice I can give, sit still, remember to breathe, and do something that turns your brain off. Not so much something that makes you relax, but something mindless and/or mindnumbing. It tends to help me with the small bouts of anxiety I get.

As for the Diminished themselves, they lead fairly plain lives all things considered. The wild ones hunt, and gather, and work to make the small communities they’ve formed thrive in any part of the world they find themselves is.

How someone treats a Diminished is a pretty good judge of their character. Most normal people see them as just normal animals, whether that be as pets, pests, or food.
Some treat them better than animals. Seeing them as special but not quite as human.

Most people who weren’t Diminished lead normal lives. They hear tales of the chaos that ensued when The Diminishment occurred, but for the most part life is normal, aside from the Diminished themselves now being there.
